Hoffmann Family of Companies Increases Footprint Into the Health Care Sector with the Acquisition of NOA Medical Industries
The Naples, Florida-based Hoffmann Family of Companies has acquired NOA Medical Industries, the Washington, Missouri based manufacturer of long term care and acute care beds. NOA Medical, previously owned by the Meiners Family and launched in 1989 by Joe Meiners, has shown continued growth throughout North America with a full line of low beds and sleep safety accessories for the long term care market. Currently led by Ray Ganz, CEO, NOA recently entered in the Acute Care market with a full line of Med/Surg Hospital beds and Patient Transport Stretchers. NOA has continued to expand into the Acute Care market with new products such as their unique Behavioral Health Bed System and their Prison Infirmary Acute Bed System.
The acquisition of NOA is "a strategic move to further diversify the expansive Hoffmann Family of Companies portfolio in the growing (healthcare) sector" the company said. The purchase of NOA Medical follows the Hoffmann Family of Companies investment into other business opportunities located in Augusta, Missouri area.
